What is the Annual Fund and why should I give?
The Campus School Annual Fund supports these core priorities: Faculty Development, Technology and Program Enhancement.
The Campus School tuition represents a significant portion of the household budget for many of our families. The Campus School supports its basic operating budget with tuition and related fees, but unlike public schools, does not receive tax dollars to fund students’ education. The yield from a small endowment and a limited amount of funds from the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Credit (OSTC) are largely restricted to scholarships. While the School is affiliated with the Diocese of Pittsburgh, it does not receive funding from the Diocese.
Instead, independent schools like The Campus School must rely on private support to sustain and advance academic excellence, and improve and upgrade classroom tools and technology needed for today’s learner-centered educational environment.
The Campus School Annual Fund was created in January 2013 and has been generously seeded by the Carlow University School of Education, a current Campus School family as well as through donations by individuals from faculty, staff and administration.
Your gift will greatly further the development of our staff and our students. A Campus School Annual Fund gift goes to work immediately to help students and faculty.

SCRIP is a fund-raising program for schools and organizations. It comes from a general term used in the retail industry referring to substitutes for legal tender – in this case gift cards as credit. Individuals/Families will purchase gift cards from a large list of participating retailers. This list includes a variety of grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, clothing stores, hardware stores, etc. You buy gift cards for routine purchases, you do not have to buy or spend on anything you wouldn’t otherwise be shopping for.
