Your outright gift is the most immediate way you can improve our student’s educational experience.
Outright Gifts include cash, securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds), tangible personal property, corporate matching gifts, and pledges. These gifts can be designated to help a program or project of special interest to the donor. Outright gifts are most often claimed as a charitable tax deduction the year in which they are received.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies have matching gift programs that support various nonprofit organizations, including The Campus School. The company for which you or your spouse works may match any cash or stock gift you make – sometimes on a dollar-for-dollar basis or more.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to our organization may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Contact your employers Human Resources department to find out if your company has a matching gift policy.

Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Program enables the business community to invest directly into a student education by turning tax dollars into scholarship funds. With minimal or no additional costs, businesses like yours and others can impact the lives of children seeking a better future through education.
Planned Gifts allows donors to leave a legacy with gift options that provide tax and income benefits. Planned or deferred gifts are another way to make a gift to The Campus School while meeting the long-term needs of your estate planning. Such contributions may include gifts of cash, securities, tangible property, real estate or life insurance. Gifts may be made through bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts or charitable lead trusts. Donors who have included The Campus School in their estate plans are recognized through membership in the Sister Mary Paul Endowment Society.
Sister Mary Paul Endowment Society
The endowment can be compared to a savings account. The financial assets generate income through wise investment of the principal. Priority is placed on long-term growth of the endowment to satisfy future needs of the school. In honor of Sister Mary Paul and her years of dedication to The Campus School, we are honored to adopt the new name our Endowment level giving as the Sister Mary Paul Hickey Endowment Society.

Box Tops For Education:
Brands include General Mills, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Old El Paso and many more. Visit www.boxtopsforeducation.com for a complete list. Send in your Box Tops regularly with your child and have them dropped off in the school’s main office. It would be a great help if you could count your Box Tops and put the tally on your envelope.
The Apples For The Students program allows you to support your local schools simply by shopping at Giant Eagle and using your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®. You need to designate The Campus School of Carlow University either on line or at the customer service desk at a local store. Our code is #0148.
Office Depot supports The Campus School of Carlow University through the “5% Back to Schools” Program. This program gives you an opportunity to help us receive credits for FREE supplies when you shop at Office Depot for student school supplies. Please put the code #70088185 on your order form or give it to the sales clerk at the store.
Target Department Store:
Target will donated 1% of your purchases at Target and Target.com and ½% of Target Visa Credit Card purchases. You need to designate The Campus School of Carlow University either on line or at the customer service desk at a local store. Our code is #15106.
Many of our parents order their uniforms from Lands’ End. Whether you are ordering a uniform or something else you can support our school. Just use our school code #900101239 when you are ordering.
SCRIP is a fund-raising program for schools and organizations. It comes from a general term used in the retail industry referring to substitutes for legal tender – in this case gift cards as credit. Individuals/Families will purchase gift cards from a large list of participating retailers. This list includes a variety of grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, clothing stores, hardware stores, etc. You buy gift cards for routine purchases, you do not have to buy or spend on anything you wouldn’t otherwise be shopping for.
